Job summary

Alcon MX is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead the development, validation, and execution of packaging and labeling solutions for our products. You will work with vendors to build and validate packaging machines, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimizing packaging processes for efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical/Materials/ Industrial Engineering may be accepted.
• 2+ years of packaging engineering experience in regulated manufacturing (medical device/pharma).
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging design and development for new products and line extensions.
• Prototype design, testing, and validation of packaging concepts and feeding lines.
• Coordinate equipment qualification and process validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, ISO 11607, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and labeling standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in packaging robustness, cost, and manufacturability.
