Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Packaging and Labeling Engineer to lead development and validation of packaging systems for medical devices and pharmaceuticals at our Batam site. You will work with vendors to validate packaging machinery, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize processes for efficiency and sustainability.

The role requires hands-on experience with packaging materials, equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and labeling controls, with strong communication across diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field related to packaging.
• 2+ years in packaging engineering within regulated environments.
• Knowledge of GxP, ISO 11607, and related regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize packaging systems to meet regulatory and quality requirements.
• Lead prototype design, testing, and line trials for new packaging concepts.
• Oversee equipment qualification, validation, and process improvements.
• Ensure labeling and artwork comply with global regulatory standards.
