Maju Operations and Development in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day hotel operations under a contract. You will coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, F&B and guest services, while shaping SOPs, budgets, and performance standards.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a contract position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospitality facility. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination across all operational departments, driving efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the strategic objectives of Maju Operations and Development. This role is essential to the success of our property and will involve hands‑on management of key operational functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operational activities to ensure efficient, effective, and consistent service delivery across the property
• Manage and coordinate multiple departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and front-of-house services
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Monitor and control operational budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to maximise profitability
• Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor operational staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to maintain service quality
• Maintain detailed records and produce regular operational reports for senior management
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality delivery of services
• Respond to guest concerns and feedback in a professional and timely manner to enhance guest relations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar senior operational role within the hospitality and tourism industry, preferably in a resort or hotel environment
• Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff at all levels
• Proficiency in budget management, financial reporting, and cost control
• Demonstrated ability to implement operational systems and process improvements
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards relevant to hospitality operations
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Willingness to relocate to Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara for the duration of the contract
• A relevant qualification in hospitality management, business administration, or equivalent professional experience is preferred
