Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (S1) required; Master's (S2) preferred.
• At least 10 years in operations/logistics/port/transport with 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead field-based operations, monitor KPI, and drive targets.
• Good understanding of port and shipping industries; existing network is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service.
• Develop and execute operational plans, targets, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor operational performance, KPI achievement, and resolve issues to minimize disruptions.

Job description

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the company’s day-to-day operational activities across port, logistics, shipping, and transportation functions. This position is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency, and driving the achievement of business objectives through effective planning, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with internal teams, customers, vendors, regulators, and other key stakeholders, the Operations Manager will provide strong leadership to operational teams while ensuring seamless coordination across all activities. The successful candidate will combine hands-on operational oversight with strategic thinking to enhance productivity, resolve operational challenges, and support the company’s long-term growth and operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) minimum; Master's Degree (S2) preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, logistics, shipping, port, transportation, or related industries, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.

• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with proven experience leading and developing teams.

• Experienced in field-based operations, operational monitoring, KPI management, and target achievement.

• Good understanding of port operations, shipping, logistics, and transportation industries; existing industry network is an advantage.

• Proven track record of stable career progression and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
