Job summary

The Fred Hollows Foundation is seeking an Operations Officer to keep the Indonesia Country Program running smoothly by coordinating logistics, administration, procurement, and office operations. This hands-on role rewards organisation and attention to detail to support delivery teams.

Work across program, finance and partner teams to ensure compliant records and efficient operations so programs can focus on preventing blindness and restoring sight in communities.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in business, management, or similar.
• Experience in operations, admin, logistics, or coordination.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset (NGO/INGO experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Operational Administration & Logistics - Lead the coordination of travel, meetings, and field activities, ensuring operational arrangements are seamless, timely, and aligned with program priorities.
• Procurement & Vendor Support - Support and uphold strong procurement practices—from sourcing to supplier coordination, ensuring transparency, compliance, and value for money.
• Office & Asset Management - Oversee the effective management of office operations, assets, and supplies, maintaining a well-functioning and organised work environment.
• Compliance & Documentation - Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready operational records, supporting compliance with organisational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
• Coordination & Team Support - Act as a key operational link across program, finance, and partner teams, ensuring operations are aligned with delivery needs and enabling smooth program implementation.
