Job summary

PT HM Sampoerna Tbk. invites university students to join our Internship Program in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. You will contribute to operational excellence initiatives by strengthening documentation quality, audit readiness, and cross-functional collaboration on a six-month assignment.

You'll review and develop local S&MS documents, align with Global standards, and support stakeholder discussions while gaining hands-on experience in quality management, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Undergrad student in 7th or 8th semester with GPA ≥ 3.0 (4.0 scale) in law, management, business or related social sciences.
• Familiarity with ISO management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva; Adobe or AutoCAD a plus).
• Knowledge of videography and video editing (Adobe Premiere).
• Strong data analytics, communication and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and maintain local S&MS documents and procedures.
• Develop new documentation to address business and operational needs.
• Gather and analyze practices across locations and teams.
• Benchmark documents against materials used in other markets.
• Consolidate findings and align local documents with global standards.

This role supports operational excellence initiatives by strengthening documentation quality, audit readiness, and cross-functional coordination. You will contribute to preparations for key stakeholder forums and quality audits while gaining hands-on experience in quality management systems, compliance, and continuous improvement.

YOUR 'DAY TO DAY'

• Review, update, and maintain existing local S&MS documents and procedures.
• Develop new documentation to address business and operational needs.
• Gather and analyze current practices across different locations and teams.
• Benchmark existing documents against materials used in other Markets.
• Consolidate findings and align local documents with Global standards to ensure consistency and avoid duplication.
• Support stakeholder discussions, document reviews, and alignment sessions.
• Track project progress and maintain organized documentation records.

Who We're Looking For

• Undergraduate students, preferably in 7th or 8th semester with minimum GPA 3.00 out of 4.00 from law, management, business administration, or other social science.
• Familiarity with ISO management systems:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of graphic design (Canva; experience with Adobe or AutoCAD is a plus)
• Understanding of videography, including video creation and editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere)
• Strong data analytical, communication, and English skills

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

• Location: Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
• Duration: 6 months
