Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) in Indonesia seeks an experienced Operations Controller for Palm Oil Refineries to support BU CFOs and manage end-to-end finance, budgeting, and performance analysis. You will coordinate across CFO teams, provide financial counsel, and oversee capex reviews and cost-control initiatives at the Marunda Refinery.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Accounting with at least 3 years in refinery finance, internal audit exposure, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as Operation Controller in a Palm Oil Refinery.
• Experience as internal auditor from KAP.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
• Fluent in English is advantageous.
• Willing to be located at Marunda Refinery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Finance teams within and outside the CFO organization.
• Counsel on finance matters and prioritize BU needs.
• Consolidate and analyze product costing across refineries; ensure budgeting and forecasting at refinery level.
• Review and analyze refinery performance and discuss findings regularly.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify improvement steps for refineries.
• Review major investments and capex feasibility studies from Finance perspective.
• Recommend cost efficiency, productivity, and controls across refineries; ensure procurement controls and inventory monitoring.
• Ensure effective operations controls across units.
• Monitor compliance with policies/SOPs in each refinery.

Job Description Summary :

Support the BU CFOs in all finance matters end-to-end Together with the BU heads, manage performance and steer business.

Job Description :

• Ensure smooth coordination with other Finance teams within the CFO and outside the CFO organization

• Act as a counselor for finance matters & help prioritize and setup BUs needs

• Consolidate and provide analysis on product costing across refineries Ensure efficient refinery-level financial planning, budgeting and forecasting

• Review and analyze financial and operation performance of refineries regularly and ensure regular discussions take place

• Conduct variance analysis and identify improvement steps for refineries

• Review major investments, major disposal or strategic business decisions (Capex feasibility studies) from Finance perspective

• Provide recommendation & initiatives to improve cost efficiencies, productivity and controls for refineries Ensure appropriate controls implemented during procurement process (e.g. proper QCF, effective price comparisons) and physical inventory and fixed asset monitoring process

• Ensure effective operations control measures are in place across units

• Monitor overall controls and compliance with policies/SOPs in each refinery.

Job Requirement :

• Minimal Bachelor Degree in Accounting

• Having minimal 3 years of working experience as Operation Controller in Palm Oil Refinery

• Having experience as internal auditor from KAP

• Detail oriented and good in analytical thinking

• Fluent in English could be an advantages

• Willing to be located in Marunda Refinery
