Job summary

PT SMART Tbk in North Jakarta is seeking an Operation Controller to support BU CFOs in all finance matters end-to-end, align with BU heads, and steer performance across refineries.

You will consolidate product costing, oversee refinery-level budgeting, conduct variance analyses, review capex feasibility, and implement robust controls in procurement and fixed assets to drive cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as Operation Controller.
• Experience as internal auditor from KAP is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin speaking can be advantageous.
• Willing to be located in Marunda Refinery (North Jakarta).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with finance teams within the CFO and outside the CFO organization.
• Consolidate and provide analysis on product costing across refineries.
• Ensure efficient refinery-level financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Review and analyze financial & operation performance of refineries regularly and ensure regular discussions take place.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify improvement steps for refineries.
• Review major investments, major disposal or strategic business decisions (Capex feasibility studies) from finance perspective.
• Provide recommendation & initiatives to improve cost efficiencies, productivity and controls for refineries.
• Ensure appropriate controls are implemented during procurement process and physical inventory and fixed asset monitoring process.
• Ensure effective operations control measures are in place across units.
• Monitor overall controls and compliance with policies/SOPs in each refinery.
