• Maintain travel databases and assist with admin tasks.

About the role

We are seeking an Operational Staff Travel Agent to join our growing team in Denpasar, Bali on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role within our operations, where you will be responsible for day-to-day travel arrangements, customer support, and the seamless execution of travel itineraries. As an Operational Staff Travel Agent, you will be the backbone of our service delivery, ensuring that every client receives prompt, professional, and knowledgeable assistance throughout their booking and travel experience. This position offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality and tourism environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and company success.

Key responsibilities

• Processing travel bookings including flights, accommodations, tours, and ground transportation
• Responding to sales team enquiries via email, phone, and messaging platforms in a timely and professional manner
• Managing reservations systems and updating client records accurately and consistently
• Coordinating with travel suppliers, hotels and tour operators to confirm bookings and resolve issues
• Handling payment processing and invoicing for travel packages and services
• Contributing to the maintenance of travel databases (software of the company)
• Assisting with administrative tasks and supporting the broader operational team as needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a travel agent or in a similar customer-facing role within the tourism and hospitality industry
• Excellent communication skills in English, with additional language proficiency highly desirable
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and client requests simultaneously
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
• A customer-centric approach with genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex travel arrangements
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure
