Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Medical Representative to develop the sales territory for oncology products and to build strong customer relationships aimed at maximizing market share.

You will implement sales strategies, monitor performance, analyze market opportunities, and develop a territory plan with resource allocation to achieve objectives. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and proven sales experience in oncology with strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in any field
• Experience in Sales function, esp in Oncology Therapy Area.
• High level of drive and determination
• Good Interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Effectively implement sales strategy and tactics, plan of action (POA) in accordance with company policies
• Regularly monitor territory’s sales performance to initiate appropriate actions to ensure performance is in line with objectives
• Conduct analysis of market/competitors to identify territory business opportunities
• Develop territory Business Plan based on POA and allocate resources for optimal sales impact
• Monitor territory business plan to ensure resources are directed to customers of greatest potential
• Participate in sales activities programs to increase product awareness in the market
• Update territory customer segmentation classification, database and call records continuously
• Explore and expand new customer base in line with SFE guidelines
• Deliver key promotional messages within approved detail aids and in line with POA
• Build trust and credibility with customers by demonstrating professionalism
• Submit Monthly reports commenting on deviations from Business Plan and intended actions to align performance with objectives
• Ensure punctual delivery of report
• Develop behaviours leading to enhanced effectiveness as outlined in MR Competency definitions
• Attend & actively participate in sales meetings, product and sales training
