Job summary

PT. INTERNET PRATAMA INDONESIA TBK seeks an on-site Network Infrastructure Engineer to ensure smooth operation of client network devices and related infrastructure.

The role requires active standby on-site to respond to incidents, perform preventive and corrective actions, and maintain client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Engineering/Information System.
• 3 years' experience as Network Infrastructure Engineer.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of hardware and network connectivity issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on-site independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• SIM A, CCNA, NSE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact at the client site for network-related issues.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for routers, switches, firewalls, APs, and other network devices.
• Assist in installation, configuration, and testing of new or replacement equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, steps taken, and resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or backline support when needed.
• Coordinate with the client IT team and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

As an engineer who responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of network devices and related infrastructure at the client’s location. This role requires active standby on-site to respond promptly to incidents, perform preventive and corrective actions, and maintain client satisfaction.

Requirements :

Minimum Diploma of Computer Science/Information Engineering/Information System

3 years experience as Network Infrastructure Engineer

Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls).

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on-site.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Certified with SIM A, CCNA, NSE is a Plus

Key Responsibilities:
