Job summary

PT. INTERNET PRATAMA INDONESIA TBK is seeking an engineer responsible for providing technical support and ensuring smooth operation of network devices at the client site in Sorong, Papua.

This role requires active on-site standby to promptly respond to incidents and to perform preventive and corrective actions. The candidate should have a diploma in CS/IS/Information Engineering with at least 3 years of experience, strong TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and firewall knowledge, plus hands-on

Qualifications

• Diploma in CS/IS/Information Engineering.
• 3 years of experience as Network Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of hardware and network connectivity.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to be on-site placement in Sorong, Papua.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact at the client site for network issues.
• Provide first- and second-level support for network devices.
• Assist in installation, configuration, testing of new or replacement equipment.
• Maintain detailed incident records and resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or backline support.
• Coordinate with client IT and internal support teams to ensure smooth operations.

As an engineer who responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of network devices and related infrastructure at the client’s location. This role requires active standby on-site to respond promptly to incidents, perform preventive and corrective actions, and maintain client satisfaction.

Requirements :

Minimum Diploma of Computer Science/Information Engineering/Information System

3 years experience as Network Infrastructure Engineer

Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls).

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on-site.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Placement : SORONG, Papua

Key Responsibilities:
