Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Project Assistant for a construction site in Karawang, Indonesia. You will coordinate MEP, HVAC, fire protection, and civil activities, monitor progress, manage manpower and materials, and ensure alignment with schedules and site requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 2–3 years in construction project coordination or site coordination.
• Experience coordinating MEP and civil activities and monitoring progress.
• Experience liaising with project owners, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly site reports and maintain logs.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and civil processes.
• Proficiency in Excel for logs and progress trackers.
• English proficiency for business communication; driving license required.
• Reading Chinese construction drawings is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily MEP and civil construction activities and monitor progress.
• Communicate owner and consultant instructions and track actions.
• Coordinate handovers, drawings reviews, and technical briefings with contractors.
• Liaise with suppliers to monitor deliveries and storage; escalate shortages.
• Organize meetings, prepare minutes, and track corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain coordination logs and issue trackers.
