Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Project Assistant to support daily construction site operations in Karawang, Indonesia. The role coordinates MEP, HVAC, fire protection, and selected civil activities while monitoring progress, manpower, and equipment deployment.

The successful candidate will liaise with project owners, supervision consultants, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery. Will organize meetings and maintain clear project records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in construction project coordination or similar.
• Experience coordinating MEP and civil activities and monitoring progress.
• Experience liaising with owners, consultants, GC, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Experience preparing daily/weekly site reports and logs.
• Proficient in Excel for logs and reports.
• Strong communication and problem-solving under project pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily MEP and civil activities, monitor progress and allocate resources.
• Communicate instructions and resolve outstanding issues with stakeholders.
• Coordinate handovers, sequencing, reviews, and briefings with contractors.
• Liaise with suppliers to monitor material deliveries and storage.
• Organize site coordination meetings and track actions.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain logs.
• Ensure alignment with project schedules and site requirements.
