Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Project Assistant to support daily construction site operations in Karawang, Indonesia. You will coordinate MEP, HVAC, fire protection, and civil activities, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2–3 years in construction project coordination, and strong communication with owners, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Proficiency in Excel and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or site coordination.
• Hands-on experience coordinating MEP and civil construction activities, including progress monitoring.
• Experience liaising with project owners, supervision consultants, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Experience preparing daily and weekly site reports and maintaining coordination logs.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire protection) and civil processes.
• Ability to read MEP and civil construction drawings and understand sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily MEP and civil construction activities, monitor progress and resources.
• Communicate owner and consultant instructions, inspection requirements, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate handovers, sequencing, drawings reviews, and briefings with contractors.
• Liaise with suppliers and warehouse teams to track material deliveries and inspections.
• Organize site coordination meetings and prepare minutes and action follow-ups.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain issue trackers.
