Job summary

PT. Golden Rock Group is seeking a capable Field Service Engineer (FSE) for medical devices to perform pre-installation, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and on-site support at hospitals and clinics in Indonesia.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in electromedical engineering, 2–3 years field service experience, strong diagnostic skills, fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromedical field or above.
• 2–3 years of field service experience in medical device industry (IVD, imaging, ECG/EEG, or patient monitoring preferred).
• Solid understanding of electronic systems, diagnostic instruments, and hospital equipment infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in equipment calibration, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; Chinese is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of medical devices in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics.
• Conduct performance testing, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting to ensure equipment operates at optimal conditions.
• Provide on-site user training and technical guidance for customers and distributors.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to support product demonstrations and after-sales activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure proper documentation of all service-related operations.
• Maintain strong customer communication to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationships.
• Participate in factory and company-organized technical and product training sessions to enhance professional skills.
• Provide technical support for tenders, product installation projects, and commissioning.
