Job summary

SOECHI GROUP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, engineering, evaluation, and technical support of mechanical systems for offshore oil and gas facilities. You will ensure designs meet project specs, standards, regulatory requirements, and client needs through FEED, EPC, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–10 years of offshore mechanical design experience in oil & gas EPC projects.
• Strong technical understanding of rotating and static mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CAESAR II, Staad, PDMS/E3D/Navisworks.
• Knowledge of mechanical material selection, corrosion protection, and offshore environmental considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical deliverables including datasheets, specifications, calculations, reports, and BOM for rotating and static equipment.
• Perform equipment sizing, material selection, stress analysis, hydraulic calculations, and design verification based on process requirements.
• Review and interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, engineering drawings, 3D models, and vendor documentation.
• Prepare mechanical equipment requisitions and technical bid evaluations for static and rotating equipment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated engineering solutions.
• Provide technical clarification and approval during procurement, FAT, SAT, and commissioning stages.
