Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Indonesia seeks a Senior Technical Advisor - Overall Mechanical (Static & Rotating Equipment Lead) to lead offshore projects, overseeing design, selection and performance of specialty static and rotating equipment.

You will coordinate with clients and suppliers, contribute to FEED and detailed engineering, and ensure compliance with API/ASME while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from reputed University.
• Experience on EPC projects with international clients; lead engineer on offshore projects.
• 15–20 years of offshore project experience (Well Head, Fixed Platforms and FPSO).
• Familiar with ASME, API and other international codes.
• Excellent coordination and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervisor role for static and rotating equipment on offshore projects.
• Design and select specialty rotating/static equipment for EPC projects such as compressors, turbines, pumps.
• Prepare technical specifications and data sheets for equipment.
• Coordinate with inter-disciplines, client, and suppliers.
• Review bids and perform vendor document/design reviews.
• Support technical proposals.
• HAZID/HAZOP/model reviews for packages.

Senior Technical Advisor - Overall Mechanical (Static & Rotating Equipment Lead)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with focus on static and rotating equipment/packages and to support our project in oil and gas sector

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Supervisory Role for Static and Rotating Equipment/Packages on Offshore Projects.
• Responsible for the design and selection of specialty rotating/static equipment on EPC projects like Process gas Compressors, Gas Turbines, Sea Water Injection Pumps, etc. through the various engineering work phases (i.e. Feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED studies, and detailed engineering for Offshore, FPSO and LNG Projects), pressure vessels, tanks etc.
• Responsible for Selection of specialty rotating/static equipment on EPC projects in compliance with International API codes & Client Specification requirements.
• Responsible for preparing technical specifications and data sheets for specialty rotating/static equipment and packages.
• Responsible for complete Requisitioning of specialty rotating equipment and packages.
• Coordinates work with inter-disciplines, client and suppliers.
• Responsible for the technical evaluation of Bids; prepares technical bid tabulation reports by interacting with Suppliers, clients and inter disciplines.
• Participates HAZID, HAZOP, Model Review studies for packages, co-ordinates and close out Mechanical related issues.
• Performs vendor document and design reviews for speciality rotating equipment and packages.
• Supports technical Proposals

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from reputed University.
• Possess relevant experience working on EPC projects with reputed international clients with minimum two Offshore Projects worked as Lead Engineer.
• Minimum 15~20 years of Offshore Project experience (Well Head,Fixed Platforms and FPSO) is preferred.
• Shall be well conversant with International Industry Codes such as ASME, API etc.
• Should possess coordination / communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
• Experience with Norsok Requirements and UKCS regulations will be an added advantage.
