Job summary

PT SOECHI LINES Tbk in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership for LNG/FSRU projects. You will review and approve mechanical deliverables, oversee equipment, coordinate EPC contractors and shipyards, and support commissioning and handover of FSRU assets.

The role requires 10–15 years in Oil & Gas, offshore/marine LNG experience, and a strong knowledge of cryogenic systems, high‑pressure gas handling, and piping. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required) with strong offshore/oil & gas experience.
• Master's Degree and Chartered/Professional Engineer status preferred.
• 10–15 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience, offshore/marine LNG/FSRU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design Review & Verification of mechanical deliverables for LNG/FSRU projects.
• Oversee EPC contractors, shipyards, engineering consultants and equipment vendors.
• Provide technical direction and resolve mechanical issues during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Participate in FAT/SAT and performance verification, ensuring compliance with project specs and standards.
• Support commissioning and final handover of FSRU projects.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, SIGTTO and other international standards.
