Job summary

Flexport in Jakarta is seeking an Ops Associate to support regional account management and customs teams, carriers and freight providers. You will execute booking, documentation, and end-to-end export processes while coaching junior specialists.

The role challenges you to solve operational problems, improve service delivery, and help scale Flexport's operations. You will collaborate with the AM and Planning teams and contribute to new projects.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree required.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in logistics or related field.
Ocean freight knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Execute booking and documentation processes with clients/carriers.
Timely shipment troubleshooting and exception escalation.
Work with AM/Planning team to ensure end-to-end export process.
Coach junior specialists on the daily job.
Plan and execute special freight operations (DG, reefer).
Assist Senior Associate on new business/process implementation and new projects.
Support clients to make the best decision with your expertise.
Uphold integrity and high operational quality and service.
Contribute to scaling the team with improved procedures.
