Job summary

RGF HR Agent Indonesia is seeking an Ocean Export Supervisor to oversee daily FCL export operations, coordinate bookings, vessel space, and documentation. The role requires leadership and strong knowledge of export procedures, aimed at ensuring timely, compliant shipments and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2+ years as an Export Customer Service Supervisor in ocean freight, and experience with CargoWise and AMS/AFR submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Business-level English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Export Customer Service Supervisor in ocean freight forwarding.
• Hands-on experience managing FCL shipments, including AMS/AFR submissions, with preferably prior experience using CargoWise.
• Strong knowledge of export-import procedures and shipping documentation (B/L, SI, VGM, PEB, etc.).
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Ocean Export operations, primarily FCL shipments.
• Manage end-to-end export processes from booking to vessel departure.
• Coordinate and secure vessel space with shipping lines.
• Liaise with shipping lines, overseas agents, customers, and internal departments.
• Prepare, check, and process export documentation accurately and on time.
• Monitor vessel schedules, shipment progress, cut-off times, and documentation deadlines.
• Create job orders and ensure invoices are issued accurately and on schedule.
• Handle and resolve operational issues promptly and provide timely updates to customers.
• Ensure export operations comply with company procedures, shipping line requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Supervise, guide, and support Ocean Export team members in their daily activities.
• Follow up on shipment issues and proactively coordinate solutions with relevant parties.
• Ensure a high level of service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support process improvements to increase operational efficiency and accuracy.
