Job summary

PT. SASL AND SONS INDONESIA is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily logistics activities, coordinating domestic and international shipments and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will manage essential documentation and liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to maintain compliance and optimize costs.

• Supervise daily logistics operations, including domestic and international shipments.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping and export-import documentation.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and government agencies.
• Monitor shipment schedules and on-time delivery to customers.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export-import laws, and company policies.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, purchasing, sales, and finance on shipments.
• Prepare and review logistics reports, shipment records, and transport performance.
• Manage logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Handle shipment issues, customs clearance delays, and transportation problems promptly.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and proper document filing for audits.
• Develop logistics team members to improve performance and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and shipping operations.

Job description

Supervise daily logistics operations, including domestic and international shipments.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all shipping and export-import documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Shipping Instructions, and other related documents).

Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and government agencies to ensure smooth import and export processes.

Monitor shipment schedules and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export-import laws, and company policies.

Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance departments regarding shipment planning and documentation requirements.

Prepare and review logistics reports, shipment records, and transportation performance.

Manage logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising service quality.

Handle shipment issues, customs clearance delays, and transportation-related problems promptly.

Maintain accurate logistics records and ensure proper document filing for audit and regulatory purposes.
