Job summary

PT AWOT GLOBAL LOGISTICS INDONESIA is seeking an experienced Ocean Export Lead to manage the full export process from booking to shipment completion. You will coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customers, trucking, warehouse, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in logistics or related fields, at least 5 years in Ocean Export/Freight Forwarding with leadership experience, and strong

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Ocean Export/Freight Forwarding, with leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of international ocean freight, export documentation, customs, and shipping lines
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Monitor vessel schedules, cut-off times, ETD/ETA, and resolve operational issues
• Handle customer complaints and ensure high service quality
• Control operational costs and improve efficiency
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the Ocean Export team
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management

Job description

Manage and oversee the entire Ocean Export process from booking to shipment completion. Ensure smooth, timely, and accurate operations in accordance with company SOPs. Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customers, trucking, warehouse, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

Monitor vessel schedules, cut-off times, ETD/ETA, and resolve operational issues

Handle customer complaints and ensure high service quality

Control operational costs and improve efficiency

Lead, develop, and evaluate the Ocean Export team

Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management

About you

Minimum Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related fields

Minimum 5 years of experience in Ocean Export/Freight Forwarding, with leadership experience

Strong knowledge of international ocean freight, export documentation, customs, and shipping lines

Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Target-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
