Job summary

MatchaTalent seeks a Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) to lead on-site mining activities in Konawe Utara, Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara, Indonesia. You will assume legal and technical responsibility for exploration and construction work, ensuring compliance with ESDM regulations, safety, environmental protection, and GMP.

You will oversee overburden removal, ore handling, hauling, stockpile management, and shipping while guiding the operations team and contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology with POP/POM/POU licenses.
Minimum 8+ years in nickel mining with KTT or managerial experience.
Strong knowledge of ESDM regulations, RKAB, and GMP.
Experience in mine planning, budgeting, and contractor management.
Proven leadership and stakeholder management with English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with ESDM regulations and liaise with government agencies.
Prepare and control RKAB, Feasibility Studies, and AMDAL documents.
Oversee mining operations: overburden removal, ore handling, hauling, stockpile, shipping.
Lead GMP, SMKP, and environmental compliance initiatives.
Manage and mentor operations team and contractors for safety and quality.
