Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) to lead on-site mining activities in Indonesia. You will ensure exploration and construction comply with ESDM regulations, prioritizing safety, environment, and GMP throughout the project development phase.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic mine planning, and stakeholder management with daily coordination across teams and government agencies. English proficiency is essential for technical discussions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology is required.
Must hold POP, POM, and POU certifications (POU for legal KTT status).
Minimum 8+ years in nickel mining with managerial or KTT experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with ESDM regulations and act as liaison with government agencies (permits, RKAB, environmental licenses).
Lead preparation, evaluation and control of RKAB, Feasibility Studies, and AMDAL to support mine planning and production strategies.
Oversee mining operations including overburden removal, ore getting, hauling, stockpile management, shipping, and grade control.
Lead HSE initiatives by enforcing GMP, SMKP, and environmental compliance.
Mentor and evaluate the operations team and contractors for safety and regulatory standards.
