Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) to lead exploration and early-stage mining activities in North Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi. You will ensure compliance with ESDM regulations, direct RKAB, AMDAL, and feasibility studies, and drive safety and environmental performance.

Responsibilities include overseeing overburden removal, ore handling, hauling, stockpile management, shipping, and Grade Control, while mentoring the operations team and contractors to meet target production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology; POP, POM, and POU certifications (POU required for KTT).
• Minimum 8+ years in nickel mining with managerial or KTT experience.
• In-depth knowledge of ESDM regulations, RKAB procedures, mine planning, grade control, stockpile management, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with mining regulations (ESDM) and act as liaison with government agencies.
• Lead preparation, evaluation, and control of RKAB, Feasibility Studies, and AMDAL.
• Oversee mining operations: overburden removal, ore getting, hauling, stockpile mgmt, shipping, and Grade Control.
• Lead HSE initiatives: GMP, SMKP, and environmental compliance.
• Manage, mentor, and evaluate the operations team and contractors.
