Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) to be based on-site in Southeast Sulawesi and to lead all exploration and construction mining activities with a focus on compliance, safety, and GMP adherence.

You will coordinate with government bodies, manage permits and RKAB processes, and guide a skilled team toward a solid operating foundation as the project moves toward production.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mining projects in nickel mining environments.
• Knowledge of ESDM regulations and RKAB procedures.
• Strong leadership and integrity under challenging field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ESDM regulations and act as liaison with government agencies, including permits and environmental licenses.
• Lead preparation, evaluation, and control of RKAB, Feasibility Studies, and AMDAL documents for mine planning and production strategies.
• Oversee mining operations including overburden removal, ore getting, hauling, stockpile management, shipping, and grade control to meet targets.
• Champion HSE initiatives, GMP, and SMKP compliance across the site.
• Manage and mentor the operations team and contractors to uphold standards.
