Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) to establish and oversee mining activities in Sulawesi. You will ensure compliance with ESDM regulations, lead RKAB processes, and guide mine planning from exploration to pre-production stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology; POP, POM, and POU certifications required
• 8+ years in nickel mining with managerial or KTT experience
• In-depth knowledge of ESDM regulations, RKAB procedures, mine planning, grade control, stockpile management, nickel shipping, budgeting, cost control, and contractor management
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills; English proficiency for international coordination

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ESDM regulations and act as liaison with government agencies; manage permits, RKAB approvals, and environmental licenses
• Lead preparation, evaluation, and control of RKAB, feasibility studies, amdAL documents for mine planning and production strategies
• Oversee all mining operations including overburden removal, ore extraction, hauling, stockpile management, shipping, and grade control implementation
• Lead HSE initiatives by enforcing GMP and SMKP and environmental compliance
• Mentor and evaluate the operations team and contractors to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
