ALTO Network in Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to lead L3 network engineering for enterprise data-centre, LAN, WAN, internet, partner and hybrid-cloud connectivity. You will define architecture, routing strategy and resilience while guiding a team through complex incidents and optimization.
The role requires 8-12 years in network engineering, with banking/payments or regulated-industry experience preferred, and a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or engineering.

Role Purpose:
Lead L3 network engineering for enterprise data-center, LAN, WAN, internet, partner and hybrid-cloud connectivity by defining network architecture, routing strategy, resilience, performance, capacity and technical standards. The role is accountable for resolving complex network problems, governing configuration and technology lifecycle, enabling network automation and equipping Network Operations L2 with approved procedures for stable daily operation.Operational Management:
Ensure IT Infra Projects and BAUs are delivered in excelent quality and in time. Ensure team members have individual performance plans. Monitor team performance and conduct regular appraisals/mentoring/coaching. Manage training and development team members. Maintain the resilience of production environment from infrastructure to applications to support business continuity. Follow standard procedures and common best practices as guidelines for maintaining the quality. Integrate unit strategy, budget/FinOps & capacity; track unit cost (e.g., cost/transaction); set architecture standards Develop the infrastructure strategy and multi-year roadmap. Translate business growth, transaction forecasts, regulatory requirements, and application demand into infrastructure plans Establish target architecture across cloud, database, network, compute, storage, virtualization, backup, and operating systems. Standardize infrastructure patterns and reduce unnecessary technology variation. Evaluate new technologies, vendors, platforms, and infrastructure modernization opportunities. Ensure architecture decisions support availability, scalability, security, operability, and cost efficiency. Establish engineering standards, reference architectures, and configuration baselines. Determine team goals, setup plan and organize the action plans for the team to achieve. Monitor and report on team progress towards achievements and deliverables of plans and strategies. Ensure the team following the outlined procedures and best practices. Define target architecture for on-premises & cloud network Assess infrastructure requirements for new business systems. Review server and system high-level and low-level designs. Design high-availability solutions. Standardize technology patterns across the organization. Maintain technology roadmaps and reference architectures. Standardize technology across the organization. Ensure the health and availability of infrastructure components supporting critical services. Lead L3 troubleshooting for complex network issue Ensure recurring maintenance, patching, backup, certificate, firmware, and lifecycle activities are completed. Monitor infrastructure backlogs, recurring failures, capacity risks, and operational exceptions. Ensure operational activities meet SLA, security, audit, and regulatory requirements. Maintain infrastructure disaster-recovery capabilities. Participate in business-service DR exercises with SRE, applications, ITSM, and business owners. Establish infrastructure capacity baselines and utilization thresholds. Forecast demand for compute, memory, storage, and licenses. Support risk assessments, audits, PCI DSS requirements, and security investigations. Maintain infrastructure configuration standards and approved baselines. Establish capacity and performance-management methodologies. Forecast capacity using historical demand and business growth Recommend rightsizing without compromising resilience. Define end-of-life and end-of-support policies. Develop upgrade, migration and replacement roadmaps. Coordinate hardware refresh and operating-system upgrades. Maintain baseline versions in controlled repositories. Establish configuration-change and review procedures. Define configuration-drift detection requirements.
