Job summary

GE HealthCare in Bandung, Indonesia, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain MRI and other imaging systems, perform preventive and remedial maintenance, and ensure service excellence on customer sites.

You will troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, IT and software aspects, interact with radiology staff and biomedical engineers, and support installation and PMS contracts while traveling across Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in electronics, computer, information technology, or biomedical engineering.
• 2–5 years field service experience in healthcare or equivalent.
• Experience handling Radiology/Imaging equipment, MRI preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all models specific to a modality in the assigned area.
• Total system level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems.
• Daily interface with doctors, radiographers & biomedical engineers on equipment status issues.
• Ensures customer satisfaction for primary customers.
• Supports sales visits and trains colleagues; identifies opportunities.
• Contributes to business growth in the assigned area.
• Manages warranty, installation and PMS contract cost control.
• Completes all administration tasks on time; documents inspections.
• Leads installations in complex rooms and shares best practices.
