Job summary

Merdeka Copper Gold is seeking a Talent Acquisition Assistant Manager to lead recruitment for corporate functions, mining operations and project sites in Indonesia. You will implement talent acquisition strategies, manage end-to-end processes, coordinate with hiring managers and site HR teams, and drive talent mapping, market research and KPI reporting to support workforce planning.

The role requires managing diverse channels, ensuring compliance and delivering an excellent candidate experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industry Engineering, Psychology, Technology, System Information or related field.
• 5–8 years in talent acquisition; mining, metals, minerals, energy or heavy industries preferred.
• At least 2 years in supervisory or team coordinator role.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong written and verbal skills.
• Experience managing end-to-end recruitment for managerial, technical, specialist and site-based roles.
• Knowledge of mining manpower requirements, talent markets and recruitment challenges.
• Proficient in talent mapping, workforce planning, analytics, and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in Excel, recruitment dashboards, LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies across corporate functions, mining operations and project sites.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering, onboarding.
• Coordinate with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and site HR teams to set priorities.
• Conduct talent mapping, market research, and sourcing for managerial, technical, specialist and operational roles.
• Manage recruitment channels including LinkedIn, portals, agencies, headhunters and networks.
• Monitor KPIs such as time-to-fill, hiring targets, sourcing effectiveness and costs.
• Prepare recruitment reports and dashboards to support workforce planning and management decisions.
• Ensure adherence to recruitment policies and drive improvements in efficiency and candidate experience.
