Job summary

PT. ANZAWARA SATRIA is seeking an experienced Mining Planner for its coal operations. A Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Geology is required, with 5+ years in mine planning and at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

You will develop short-, mid-, and long-term plans, pit designs, and overburden removal strategies, ensure coal reserve evaluation and pit optimization, and coordinate with Operations, Survey, Geology and Drill & Blast teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in mine planning within coal mining, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of short-, mid-, and long-term mine planning, including production scheduling, pit design and overburden removal planning.
• Proficient in Minescape, Minex, Surpac or similar software.
• Experience in coal reserve evaluation, pit optimization, stripping ratio analysis and production target monitoring.
• Familiar with RKAB preparation, mining technical reports and Indonesian mining regulations.
• Able to analyze geological data, topographic surveys, and operational performance to optimize mine design and production efficiency.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Willing to be placed at the mining site and work on a roster basis.
• Familiarity with mine production reconciliation, equipment productivity, mining sequence and coordination with Mining Operations, Survey, Geology and Drill & Blast teams.
• POP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-, mid-, and long-term mine plans aligned with production targets.
• Design pits and plan overburden removal to optimize efficiency.
• Evaluate coal reserves and optimize pits and stripping ratios.
• Monitor production targets and reconcile production data.
• Coordinate with Operations, Survey, Geology, and Drill & Blast teams.
• Prepare RKAB and mining technical reports in compliance with Indonesian regulations.
