Job summary

PT Artha Nusantara Mining is seeking a focused Mining Planning Engineer in Pauh, Jambi. You will develop and evaluate master mine plans based on geological models and equipment availability, and prepare short- and medium-term plans aligned with targets and strategies.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, 1–2 years in mine planning, proficiency in MineScape, SPRY, and ArcGIS, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of mine planning experience; coal mining preferred.
• Proficient with MineScape, SPRY and ArcGIS.
• Familiar with geological models, mine design and reserve evaluation.
• POP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Develop and evaluate master mine plans based on geological models and equipment availability.
• Prepare short-term and medium-term mine plans including quarterly targets and sequences.
• Review coal reserve data from mining blocks and determine quantities and quality.
• Coordinate with teams to align plans with operations and management strategies.
• Prepare mining data and reports for government submissions (RKAB, quarterly reports, reclamation).

Job description

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mining Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mine planning, preferably in the coal mining industry.

Proficient in mining software, particularly MineScape, SPRY, and ArcGIS.

Familiar with geological models, mine design, coal reserves evaluation, and mining sequence planning.

Possess a valid POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certification is preferred.

Demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards

Prepare short-term and medium-term mine plans, including quarterly mining targets, equipment requirements, and mining sequences.

Review and evaluate coal reserve data based on mining blocks and determine coal quantities and quality.

Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure mine plans align with operational requirements and management strategies.

Prepare and maintain mining data and reports required for government submissions, including RKAB, quarterly reports, and reclamation-related documentation.
