Job summary

Proficiency in Minescape, Minex, Surpac and MS Office is essential. You will mentor the Mine Planning team, coordinate with Operations, Geology, HSE, and Engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years in coal mining; 3 years in a Mine Planning Supervisor role.
• Strong understanding of short-, medium-, and long-term mine planning.
• POP (First-Line Operational Supervisor) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead short-, medium-, and long-term mine planning to align with production targets.
• Develop mine designs, pit sequences, waste dumps, haul roads, and strategies.
• Evaluate progress and recommend improvements based on field conditions.
• Ensure plans comply with safety standards, productivity targets, costs, and regulations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Survey, Geology, Plant, HSE, and Engineering.
• Analyze equipment productivity and mine reconciliation to support performance.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for management.
• Develop the Mine Planning team through coaching and performance evaluations.
• Ensure activities follow SOPs, GMP, and continuous improvement principles.
