Job summary

PT Dua Delapan Resources is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer with expertise in nickel mining to develop and control short- and mid-term mine plans. The role involves designing pit geometry, haul roads, and drainage systems, while monitoring production and fleet productivity to ensure targets are met.

The candidate should have 5+ years in nickel mining, 2+ years in supervision, POP certification, and be proficient in Surpac, Whittle, MineSched, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Site-based position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in nickel mining, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• POP certification is a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop and control short- and mid-term mine plans in line with production targets.
• Design and evaluate pit geometry, haul roads, and drainage systems.
• Monitor production performance, material movement, and fleet productivity.
• Analyze plan vs. actual performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare mine planning reports, production forecasts, and ore shipment supporting documents.
• Prepare departmental budgets and monitor operational costs.
• Coordinate with Mining Operations, Geology, Survey, and related functions to ensure effective mine plan implementation and regulatory compliance.

Job description
