Job summary

Ayana Hospitality in Bali invites a proactive Sales Specialist for Wedding, MICE and events to join our leadership team. You will create and execute sales activities, proactively target Japanese markets, and promote the hotels’ event spaces to drive revenue across events, restaurants and bars.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hospitality sales, fluent Japanese with N2, strong English, proven target achievement, and leadership in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality sales or related field.
• Fluent in Japanese with a certified test (N2 or higher).
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Proven track record of achieving targets in sales or events.
• Team player with leadership and customer-service orientation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement sales activities for Wedding, MICE and events.
• Proactively target Wedding and MICE opportunities, especially Japanese markets.
• Sell the hotels’ event spaces and drive Rooms and F&B revenue into events, restaurants and bars.
• Plan, lead and execute all Japanese MICE & Wedding events, ensuring operational processes are followed.
• Establish local partnerships and co-operations to promote accommodation and events.
• Establish business and market share for Wedding, MICE and special events.
• Establish and maintain relationships with assigned MICE agencies.
