Job summary

Permata Bank is seeking a sales professional in Surabaya to acquire new merchants for EDC and QRIS solutions. You will identify opportunities, present payment solutions, and drive onboarding and activation while building strong merchant relationships.

The role targets monthly and annual acquisition goals, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth setup and ongoing merchant engagement, with travel within the assigned area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Merchant Acquisition
• Experience in acquiring merchants for EDC, QRIS, POS, acquiring business, or digital payment solutions is highly preferred.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of digital payment ecosystems and merchant acquiring business is an advantage.
• Willing to travel within the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new merchants for EDC and QRIS solutions in the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and field visits. Conduct sales presentations and propose suitable payment solutions based on merchants’ business needs.
• Achieve monthly and annual acquisition targets for new merchant onboarding and activation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding, installation, and merchant activation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to encourage transaction growth and long-term engagement.
• Monitor merchant performance and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling banking products and services.
• Handle merchant inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
