Outlook International is seeking a Customer Service / Merchandiser to support its expanding operations in Indonesia. You will act as a primary liaison with international buyers, manage purchase orders, production progress, and shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance.

The role requires fluent English, at least 2 years in a similar role, and deep knowledge of export/import regulations for clearance.

JOB VACANCY: CUSTOMER SERVICE / MERCHANDISER

Outlook International (SG) PTE LTD is a leading and rapidly growing company in the furniture industry as the agent of various customers mostly from USA. We specialize in managing customer request from vendor sourcing, product development, lab testing, quality control, and on time shipments. To support our expanding operations in Indonesia, we are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and dynamic professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact and manage business relations with international buyers, manage PO production, progress and shipments, specifically for international clients.

Coordinate and oversee full-cycle merchandising operations, sample development, order tracking, and shipment schedules.

Review and ensure complete export documentation provided by vendors in accordance with international trade compliance regulations.

Prepare and report comprehensive weekly/monthly progress and shipment reports using Microsoft Excel.

Conduct frequent on-site factory visits across various regions in Indonesia to monitor production progress and timelines.

Collaborate effectively with internal team and vendors team.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and oral) is an absolute must. Professional fluency in commercial correspondence is highly required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in a similar field (Customer Service / Merchandiser) or as a Marketing professional.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the furniture manufacturing industry and solid knowledge of export/import regulations especially for clearance process.

Technical Skills: Highly proficient and adept at generating reports using Microsoft Excel.

Teamwork & Soft Skills: Strong team-player attitude, excellent communication skills, adaptability, and high resilience under pressure.

Mobility & Flexibility: Fully ready and flexible to travel for factory visits throughout all regions of Indonesia, and willing to be stationed/placed anywhere as required by business needs.
