Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent MEP design tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their integration.
• Knowledge of Indonesian building codes and standards relevant to MEP installations.
• English proficiency is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with MEP engineers and architects to translate design requirements into drawings.
• Create and maintain drawing schedules, material lists, and construction documentation.
• Perform quality checks on drawings for accuracy and compliance with codes.
• Coordinate with drafters and team members to ensure documentation consistency.

About the role

PT. Bamboo Lab Architect is seeking a skilled MEP Drafter to join our growing engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. As an MEP Drafter, you will play a crucial role in translating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs into precise technical drawings and documentation. This position is essential to ensuring that our architectural and engineering projects are executed to the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to produce detailed drawings that guide construction and installation processes, directly contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings using CAD software in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Collaborate with MEP engineers and architects to understand design requirements and translate them into accurate technical documentation
• Create and maintain drawing schedules, material lists, and construction documentation required for project implementation
• Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with building codes and regulations
• Coordinate with other drafters and team members to ensure consistency across all project documentation
• Update and revise drawings in response to design changes, client feedback, and engineering modifications
• Maintain organised filing systems and project databases for all technical drawings and documentation
• Support the preparation of tender documents and technical specifications for construction projects

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent MEP design tools
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their integration in building design
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and best practices relevant to MEP installations in Indonesia
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in English is highly desirable
• Prior experience working on commercial or residential construction projects is preferred
• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and coordination is advantageous
