Job summary

PT. PMA High Quality Construction is seeking a talented MEP Engineer to join our South Kuta, Bali team. This full-time role focuses on designing and implementing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for high-quality construction projects.

You will collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated designs, adherence to Indonesia’s codes, and on-time delivery. Strong CAD/BIM skills and energy-efficient thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing/HVAC Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of professional MEP engineering experience in construction/design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and ductwork design.

• Design and develop MEP systems for construction projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specs, and calculations for MEP works.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess requirements.

About the role
PT. PMA High Quality Construction is seeking a talented MEP Engineer to join our engineering team in South Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our high-quality construction projects. As an MEP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all systems are designed to the highest standards, comply with relevant regulations, and are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise will directly impact the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects using industry-standard software and tools

Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, drafting and calculations for MEP systems

Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess existing infrastructure and identify system requirements

Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions

Review and approve contractor submissions for MEP works to ensure compliance with design specifications

Perform energy efficiency analysis and recommend sustainable system solutions

Monitor MEP installations on site and ensure adherence to approved drawings and quality standards

Prepare cost estimates and project schedules for MEP components

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction phases

Maintain comprehensive project documentation and maintain records of all design decisions

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Plumbing/HVAC Engineering from an accredited institution

Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as an MEP Engineer in the construction or engineering design industry

Proficiency in MEP design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or equivalent programmes

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and ductwork design

Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems

Solid knowledge of plumbing and drainage systems design and installation requirements

Familiarity with Indonesian building codes and international standards such as SNI and IBC

Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills with attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Professional certification or membership in relevant engineering bodies is advantageous
