Job summary

PT. Bamboo Lab Architect is seeking a Senior Architect to join our Central Lombok team. This full-time role leads architectural vision and design excellence across projects, guiding strategy, direction, and sustainable solutions that reflect our values and client expectations.

You will shape projects from concept to delivery, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with local codes while delivering innovative design that enhances communities in the region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional architectural experience in senior or lead roles.
• Registered architect with recognized degree/qualification.
• Experience in residential, commercial or mixed-use project design and delivery.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Grasshopper or BIM platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of building codes, planning regulations and construction practices in Indonesia.
• Project management, budget control and team leadership experience.
• Strong portfolio of completed projects demonstrating design quality and innovation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in sustainable design practices.
• Hospitality project experience in tropical climates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process from concept through completion, ensuring design excellence and client satisfaction.

About the role

PT. Bamboo Lab Architect is seeking a Senior Architect to join our growing team in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead architectural vision and design excellence across our portfolio of projects. As Senior Architect, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive architectural strategies, overseeing design direction, and ensuring the delivery of innovative and sustainable solutions that align with our company's values and client expectations. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our practice and establishing our presence as a leading architectural firm in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Leading the architectural design process from concept through to completion, ensuring all projects meet design excellence standards and client requirements
• Developing and presenting architectural concepts and design proposals to clients, stakeholders and internal teams
• Overseeing junior architects and design staff, providing mentorship, guidance and quality control throughout project delivery
• Conducting site analysis and feasibility studies to inform architectural solutions and project planning
• Preparing detailed architectural drawings, specifications and technical documentation in compliance with building codes and regulations
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors and consultants to ensure integrated design delivery
• Managing project budgets, timelines and resources to ensure efficient and profitable project completion
• Staying current with architectural trends, sustainable design practices and emerging technologies to enhance project innovation
• Ensuring compliance with local building regulations, environmental standards and planning requirements
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and professional service delivery

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of professional architectural experience, with substantial experience in senior or lead design roles
• Professional architectural qualification and registration (recognized architecture degree or equivalent qualification)
• Proven expertise in residential, commercial or mixed-use project design and delivery
• Strong proficiency with industry-standard design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Grasshopper, or similar BIM platforms
• Excellent knowledge of building codes, planning regulations and construction practices relevant to Indonesia
• Demonstrated experience in project management, budget control and team leadership
• Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects that demonstrate design quality and innovative thinking
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and teams
• Experience in sustainable and environmentally conscious design practices
• Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking with attention to detail
• Preferred experience working on hospitality projects in tropical climates or similar regional contexts
