Job summary

PT Penguin Indonesia is seeking a proactive Trade Marketing professional to plan, execute, and monitor store-level activities that drive sales growth and brand visibility in Medan. You will manage merchandising, branding activations, and promotional campaigns, and build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and internal teams while guiding a small team to achieve high performance.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 2+ years in Trade Marketing within FMCG or building

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) from any field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Merchandising, Branding & Promotion in FMCG / Building Materials industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet applications is a must.
• Proactive mindset, strong analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrates leadership potential and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Skilled in mentoring, delegating tasks, and driving team performance.
• Willing to be placed in Medan.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor Trade Marketing activities at store level to drive sales growth and brand visibility.
• Manage and implement Merchandising and Branding Activation, ensuring brand presence and compliance with marketing guidelines.
• Conduct market surveys, competitor analysis, and customer insights gathering, providing actionable reports.
• Oversee and improve promotional activities, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Track, analyse, and optimize marketing campaign performance to maximize return on investment (ROI).
• Supervise a team and provide coaching for performance improvement.
