Job summary

Electrum seeks a Mechanical Excellence Lead to raise technical quality, performance, and service capability across its network. You will drive SOPs, mentoring, training, KPIs and audits, ensuring safe, high-quality repairs and consistent customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with Service, Operations, CX and Product teams to elevate mechanics performance and build scalable processes across locations.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience as a mechanic or service specialist.
• Strong diagnostics, electrical and mechanical systems knowledge.
• Experience creating or improving SOPs and training materials.
• Proven leadership, coaching and ability to upskill teams.
• Familiarity with KPI setting and productivity analysis.
• Clear communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain mechanical excellence standards across locations.
• Develop, review, and improve SOPs for mechanical operations.
• Design and lead onboarding and training programs for mechanics.
• Establish and manage mechanics KPIs and productivity metrics.
• Implement rewards and discipline framework to reinforce performance.
• Conduct technical audits to ensure SOP adherence and safety.
• Provide hands-on support and mentoring during complex repairs.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
