Job summary

Electrum is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for assets, equipment, facilities, and infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.

You will manage in-house teams and external workshop partners, develop SOPs, govern SLAs, and deliver performance reports while driving continuous improvement and minimizing operational disruption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Automotive Engineering.
• 5–7 years in repair/maintenance with 2–3 years in supervision.
• Experience managing third-party workshops and vendors.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, root-cause analysis, and SLA governance.
• Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficient with Excel and CMMS/ERP/fleet-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for assets and facilities.
• Develop and manage technicians and external workshop partners to meet safety and productivity targets.
• Establish SOPs, inspection standards, work-order controls, and quality requirements.
• Manage third-party workshops via SLAs, performance reviews, audits, and corrective actions.
• Monitor asset availability, downtime, and cost per repair.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement downtime-reducing improvements.
• Plan manpower, tools, parts, and vendor capacity for readiness.
• Control maintenance budgets, quotations, parts usage, invoices, warranties.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Procurement to minimize disruption.
• Maintain maintenance records and provide performance and risk reports.
