Qualifikationen

• Prior experience at an engineering consultancy firm.
• Hands-on experience producing detailed mechanical, plumbing, and fire fighting drawings and calculations.

Aufgaben

• Design and draft HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection drawings in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
• Prepare layouts for ducting, piping, sprinklers, water supply, and drainage.
• Collaborate with the MEP Drafter and Electrical Engineer in the MEP Department.
• Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to keep drawings aligned.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC, IPC, etc.).

We are an Architectural firm seeking a Mechanical & Plumbing Engineer to join our MEP Department.

This role involves producing complete and coordinated MEP drawings (HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting) for building projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other departments to deliver design documentation for construction.

Note:

Salary offered is gross (before tax and deductions).

BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan are provided in accordance with government regulations.

Requirements:

Based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).

5+ years of experience in mechanical and plumbing design or construction for commercial buildings (mid-rise and high-rise).

Prior experience at an engineering consultancy firm.

Proficient in AutoCAD MEP, CADDUCT, or CADPIPE (required).

Experience with building simulation software (EPANET, E20, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, CFD) or Revit/BIM is preferred.

SKA / SIBP / IPTB Madya certification or higher in mechanical, ventilation, or plumbing (preferred).

Hands-on experience producing detailed mechanical, plumbing, and fire fighting construction drawings, calculations, and construction documents.

Solid understanding of building MEP systems.

Able to interpret diagrams, drafts, flowcharts, and technical documentation.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work collaboratively in a team.

Quick to adapt and eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

Design and draft HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection construction drawings in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus), based on comprehensive calculations such as HVAC loads, pipe sizing, and equipment capacity.

Prepare layouts for ducting, piping, sprinklers, water supply, and drainage.

Work with the MEP Drafter and Electrical Engineer in the MEP Department.

Coordinate with the architectural and structural departments to keep drawings aligned.

Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC, IPC, etc.).
