PT Parama Agung Karya is seeking a Senior Engineering Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) Planner with a minimum of five years’ experience. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strong design and documentation skills, and familiarity with LV/MV systems, PLC/SCADA, and MEP procurement.
The successful candidate will design building MEP plans, prepare BOQs, and manage shop drawings and as-built documentation while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or a relevant major from a reputable university with a GPA > 3.0.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP Planner; experience handling tenders for private sector or government projects and familiarity with high-rise buildings is an advantage.
Preference given to candidates with experience in building consultancy or contracting (installation, commissioning, and technical procurement for MEP systems in Indonesia).
Understanding of low and medium voltage power distribution and protection (switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, lighting, automation cabinets).
Understanding of PLC automation applications, PLC program design, and SCADA systems.
Proficiency in comprehensive plumbing design for low-rise, mid-rise, and high-rise projects.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks or OnShape) and ETAP (Electrical Transient Analysis Program).
Strong communication skills; disciplined, meticulous, agile, honest, and capable of working under pressure.
Willingness to travel/work outside Jakarta and in regional areas.
Ability to work collaboratively (in a team) and demonstrate loyalty to the company.
Responsibilities:
Assist the team leader in executing project activities and supervising the construction process.
Design plans for all building MEP works.
Compile and prepare processes for shop drawing approvals, as-built drawings, and materials related to the MEP discipline.
Manage, configure, and optimize processes to ensure the completeness and accuracy of project documentation.
Review project documents regarding accuracy, feasibility of execution, material availability, aesthetics, and cost reasonableness.
Perform calculations for electrical equipment and instruments.
Execute electrical system designs and instrument schedules.
Identify implementation solutions when field findings deviate from the existing plans. Optimize MEP systems and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for the MEP project scope
Possess a solid understanding of on-site work execution methods
Assist the team leader in presenting work results through reports
Maintain good relationships with vendors and project stakeholders (planners/contractors)
