Job summary

Mark W Tiedemann Architect, PC seeks a Mechanical & Plumbing Engineer to join our MEP Department. The role involves producing complete and coordinated MEP drawings (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection) for building projects.

You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other departments to deliver design documentation for construction. Salary is gross per Indonesian regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical and plumbing design for commercial buildings.
• Based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Prior experience at an engineering consultancy firm.
• Hands-on experience producing detailed mechanical, plumbing, and fire fighting drawings and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection drawings in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
• Prepare layouts for ducting, piping, sprinklers, water supply, and drainage.
• Collaborate with the MEP Drafter and Electrical Engineer in the MEP Department.
• Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to keep drawings aligned.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC, IPC, etc.).
