Job summary

WireHire is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer Manager to oversee all mechanical engineering functions within our data center operations in Jakarta. You will lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and infrastructure are designed, operated, and maintained to high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Proven experience leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the mechanical engineering team, providing guidance and performance oversight.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in data center facilities.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer Manager to oversee all mechanical engineering functions within our data center operations. This role will lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring all systemsHVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and mechanical infrastructureare designed, operated, and maintained to the highest standards.

The Mechanical Engineer Manager will be responsible for end-to-end oversight of mechanical systems, from project planning and installation to commissioning, operations, and troubleshooting. This includes ensuring system reliability, improving efficiency, driving preventive maintenance programs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support operational uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in data center facilities.
• Ensure all mechanical systems meet operational, safety, and compliance standards.

• Strong understanding of HVAC, chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH, cooling towers, and mechanical redundancy concepts.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical design, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
