Job summary

WireHire is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer Manager to oversee all mechanical engineering functions within our data center operations in Jakarta. You will lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and infrastructure are designed, operated, and maintained to high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Proven experience leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the mechanical engineering team, providing guidance and performance oversight.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in data center facilities.
• Ensure all systems meet operational safety and compliance standards.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Support capacity planning, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with electrical, operations, and project management teams on infrastructure projects.
• Troubleshoot issues during incidents and provide technical guidance.
• Review engineering documents, specs, and proposals.
• Drive continuous improvement for efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
