Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a highly organized Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Batam. The role focuses on ensuring material availability, maintaining accurate inventory, coordinating purchasing, and supporting production schedules.
You will monitor production schedules, optimize stock levels, generate material orders, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams. Regular inventory reports will be prepared, and bottlenecks identified with improvement plans.
Our company is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This role will be responsible for ensuring material availability, maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating purchasing activities, and supporting project and production schedules.
Monitor production schedules, track inventory, and optimize stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
Ensure inventory accuracy by identifying inconsistencies and assessing factors that may affect production schedules.
Analyze demand forecasts and prepare material order plans to ensure timely purchasing and material availability.
Coordinate with suppliers, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to manage material orders, create purchase orders, track delivery performance, and resolve delivery issues.
Manage material requirements for new project introductions and ensure materials are available according to project schedules.
Work closely with the Store team to ensure materials are properly stored, maintained, and supplied in good condition.
Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Production, Quality, and R&D teams regarding material requirements and usage for each project.
Prepare and maintain regular material and inventory reports.
Identify supply chain bottlenecks and develop contingency plans to mitigate material and supply risks.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve material planning and workflow efficiency.
Perform other duties assigned by the Supply Chain Manager related to departmental functions.
Set, adjust, and maintain optimal inventory levels, including minimum and maximum stock levels, to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
Initiate and create purchase orders for vendors, negotiate where required, and manage vendor relationships.
Coordinate with Operations to align material availability with production schedules, including managing schedule changes and cancellations.
Coordinate and address material quality issues with relevant departments and suppliers.
Maintain and ensure the accuracy of inventory data and records.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any major.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production Planning, or a related field.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Good understanding of inventory management, material planning, and purchasing processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command of English, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and external suppliers.
